At $250 with 2 tons included, the 12-yard covers a garage or attic clear-out, a small kitchen or bathroom remodel, limbs brought down by a storm, or the flooring coming out of a single room.
Priced at $325 with 2 tons included, the 16-yard fits renovations spread over several rooms, a roof tear-off on a cottage or ranch home, and mid-sized cleanouts of mountain-view houses.
At $415 with 2 tons included, this size is aimed at larger renovations, full roof replacements, estate cleanouts, and contractor work that has outgrown the 16-yard. Additional weight is billed at $75 per ton and added days at $10 per day — see the 20-yard dumpster page for the complete terms.
At $625 with 4 tons included, the 30-yard takes on a whole-house gut, new construction on the brow, and the largest demolition work undertaken on the mountain.

Weight over the included tonnage is $75 per ton and extra time is $10 per day, both shown before a booking is complete.
In most cases the truck can work with the grade. Our drivers deliver across the mountain and routinely handle steep approaches and hillside lots. Where a driveway is unusually steep or narrow, call (256) 548-6021 before booking and a safer set-down point can be agreed — sometimes the flattest section of the lot, sometimes the edge of the street.
No permit is needed while the container stands on private property, such as a driveway. For a street placement, the authority to ask depends on which side of the line the address sits: the Town of Lookout Mountain, Tennessee, or the City of Lookout Mountain, Georgia.
Think about the material coming out of the house. Stone, heavy timber, and older roofing add weight faster than household junk does. A single room fits the 12-yard at $250, renovations across several rooms generally need the 20-yard at $415, and a whole-house gut or new work on the brow belongs in the 30-yard at $625, which carries 4 tons.
Nothing hazardous: paint, chemicals, batteries, tires, fuel, oil, asbestos, and electronics are all excluded. Ordinary debris from a mountain project — stone, lumber, drywall, shingles, furniture, and brush — is accepted.
Fourteen days is the term included with every mountain rental. Because contractor schedules and weather on the mountain can both shift, extra days can be added at $10 per day with a phone call rather than a new order.

Yes. Beyond both Lookout Mountain towns, deliveries reach Fairyland, drop down to St. Elmo at the foot of the mountain, and continue into Flintstone and Rossville in Georgia.

Loads are weighed as collected. Anything past the included allowance — 2 tons on the 12-, 16-, and 20-yard, 4 tons on the 30-yard — is charged at $75 per ton. Stone, concrete, and old roofing are dense materials, so a load built mostly of those is a reason to consider the next size up.
Some neighborhoods and homeowners' associations on the mountain do set rules about where a container may stand and how long it may remain, and a 14-day rental term fits within many of those requirements. Read your association's rules before booking and the placement and timing can be arranged around them.

Prepare the ground first: move vehicles out of the chosen area, cut back low branches hanging over the driveway, and leave the truck an unobstructed route up. On a steep lot, the flattest ground near the street is often the practical choice, and the exact spot can be confirmed with you before delivery.
Call when the container is full, whether that is day three or day thirteen. We will take it away, and where a whole-house renovation or a new build is still producing material, an empty container can be left in its place so the crew keeps working.
During a mountain renovation, furniture and building materials need a dry place that is not the room being worked on. A mobile storage unit delivered to your Lookout Mountain property costs $175, billed every 28 days, and stays on site for loading on your own timetable.
Building sites and gatherings on the mountain can be supplied with a porta potty rental at $140, billed every 28 days. The unit arrives with our crew, is serviced during its stay, and is collected when it is no longer needed.
